We also run lower primary education as part of primary education. In Ghana, children are expected to attend school from age 6. This is also the age at which they start primary education. Primary education lasts 6 years and consists of a 3-year lower primary phase. The upper primary education is an advanced class of the lower primary. Upper primary education means educating all students up to 14, which is equivalent to completing the second cycle of primary education.
